New Jersey State Library

Message from New Jersey State Library:

At the State Library we believe access to information and libraries empowers people, organizations and government. As leader of the more than 2,000 member libraries in the NJ Library Network, the State Library takes a proactive and innovative approach in guiding libraries and providing information to foster a literate, productive and competitive New Jersey. I am especially proud of the way NJ Libraries are helping job seekers during the economic environment.

I encourage you to learn more about our three bureaus: State Library Information Center,Library Development Bureau and the Talking Book and Braille Center. Each one has a distinct role in serving state government, libraries and the residents who call New Jersey home.

Best regards,
Norma Blake, New Jersey State Librarian
